Updated
GitHub Copilot in VS Code (Agent Plugin)
This guide uses LyraShield's integration registry for the ide surface. It shows the current setup strategy and client source; actual client loading and authenticated runtime acceptance are tracked separately below.
Connection setup
The registry's setup path for this client is Manual Agent Plugin setup over remote HTTP.
Manual plugin instructions
VS Code Agent Plugin setup is manual: the LyraShield CLI returns MANUAL_REQUIRED and does not install or register this plugin. The package is published, but a public listing and authenticated client runtime acceptance remain pending. Do not use the mutable marketplace preparation branch. Until those checks pass, manually merge the VS Code MCP fallback into `.vscode/mcp.json`, preserving existing servers and settings. Plugin installation, client discovery, OAuth authentication and a read-only call are separate checks.
Current fallback: manually configure VS Code MCP. Keep installation, client discovery, authentication and a read-only call as separate checks.
Use the client's documented plugin or marketplace flow. See the shared Agent Plugins guide for the portable package; this page does not claim the package is listed or runtime-verified in this client.
Native components and distribution
Documented client capabilities: plugin, skills, commands, rules, hooks. These describe what the client can load; use the installer and distribution details below to see which LyraShield components are available for this surface.
No separate marketplace or distribution channel is recorded for this surface.
Support evidence
Registry tier: EXPERIMENTAL. Evidence: DOCUMENTATION, checked 2026-09-09. Client version: not recorded; tested platforms: not recorded. No client runtime receipt is recorded.Marketplace state and runtime compatibility are separate claims.
